Any excess fat and skin are eliminated and nearby tissues are shifted into position to produce a more shapely and appealing body curve. Butt lifts may be combined with silicone implants to give a more toned appearance and involves making a discreet incision in the intergluteal fold to place the implant between the muscles. This procedure is different from a Brazilian butt lift where the volume of the buttocks is enhanced using injections composed of the patient’s own fat tissue in order to provide more definition and lift.

It is important to note that the recommended guidelines will vary on a case-by-case basis and will depend on factors such as the patient’s overall health, what techniques were used in the procedure, as well as various other aspects of the surgery. If you experience any unbearable pain or ache that lasts longer than necessary, you should immediately report it to your doctor as soon as possible.
When you can expect to see results: While it can take about four to six weeks for swelling to decrease, it will take at least a year post-surgery to see the final results. These results will also depend on whether there were any significant weight fluctuations after surgery.
It should be noted that you may experience a gradual decrease in skin firmness over time owing to the effects of aging and gravity. Your surgeon will also try their best to place the scar in an inconspicuous area so that it won’t be noticeable when you are in swimwear. These scars are permanent; however, they will gradually fade over time, taking about two years to flatten and become less visible in appearance.
